My Top 10 Atlanta Dinner Spots

1. Little Alley Steak

Give me a dirty gin martini, a medium-rare ribeye, a Caesar salad, and a cheesecake for dessert and I’m a happy gal. No seriously, this is my exact Little Alley’s Steakhouse order. Truthfully you cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. From the bone marrow, to the oysters, to the truffle mushroom risotto, everything is to die for.

2. Monkey 68

If you are looking for good sushi this is the place to go. I’ve had sushi at many places in Atlanta and all over the world. This place rivals them all. Not a sushi lover, but your fam is? No problem they have non-sushi options too! The hidden dragon cocktail is perfect for my Smokey Old-Fashioned peeps and the pancakes for dessert are the perfect coating after a night of seafood.

3. Rumi’s Kitchen

The best Persian restaurant in Atlanta, there I said it. My fiancé is half Persian and he gives it an A+ on all fronts. The Koobideh  and the lamb hummus are a few of our go-to dishes. All of the cocktails here are absolutely stunning and delicious!

4. Nuevo Laredo

I would come to this Mexican restaurant completely solo for lunch and dinner, if they were open for breakfast I would come for that too. I have nothing bad to say about it, except maybe to expect a wait when you come because it’s that good.

5. Storico Fresco

I’ve never been a big Italian gal, but let me tell you Storico Fresco is divine. The pastas are all made fresh, the wine list is superb and the dessert is top notch. This is the perfect date night restaurant or even night on the town with the gals. The move is to start and if you’re feeling wild maybe even end with an espresso martini!

6. Canoe

Canoe has the best vibes, with a landscape that is picture perfect. This is the anniversary spot, the special date night out, and the birthday dinner restaurant. All of the dishes are delicious and the caramel popcorn to finish off completes the entire evening!

7. Le Colonial

This Vietnamese Restaurant takes the cake with food, atmosphere, cocktails, and dessert. My fiancé lived in Vietnam throughout his high school years and even he agrees that this place is top notch and authentic. The fish filet is a must as an entree and the crème brûlée for dessert is amazing. The perfect night out in Buckhead if you want a fancy evening!

8. The Optimist

Oysters, oysters, oysters and half-priced happy hour oysters?! Yes please. That plus a little champagne and you cannot go wrong. I absolutely love the optimist for a late brunch spot, but the dinner menu is absolutely divine as well. Lovely seafood dishes cooked to perfection.

9. Nan Thai Fine Dining

I’ve only dined here once, but it was most definitely memorable. The food and presentation was excellent. We had a seafood tower that was 4 towers deep and had so much flavor and spices. If you are a Thai food fan this is your spot. This restaurant is on the fancier side of things so just keep that in mind!

10. Superica

I spent the majority of my Friday evenings here in my 20s so I must include it on this list. My go-to is the Al carbon pork tacos and a skinny margarita. This is the place to hang with friends get cozy and order a few margs. Also, if you go to the one at the battery you have a number of spots to go to afterwards and make a night of it!

Again, this list is based on my preferences and I can think of about 50 others that could make the list as well. I hope you find this as a starting point. For all of my out-of-state peeps I promise you will not be disappointed!
